    Kazakhstan's first clinker plant

    In Karaganda a plant is being built that the country has never had: clinker facade tile made at home. It will give the market a Kazakh alternative to imports, create about 170 jobs and take the tile to export.

    1. The plant foundation is laid in Karaganda.

    2. The steel frame of the main production hall is complete.

    3. QAZCLINKER's own laboratory is launched.

    4. The Development Bank of Kazakhstan supports construction of the plant.

    5. Active phase of interior construction works.

    6. QAZCLINKER and Sabo Group prepare the production lines. The akims of the region and of Karaganda visited the site.

    7. The palette is presented at Tanu Design Tour.

    8. Block A is ready for equipment installation. The tunnel kiln is built, vaults are 70% complete.

    9. The laboratory defines four base colour directions.

    10. The hall is about 95% complete. The date of first product is announced.

    • Coal-mine waste goes into the raw material.
